An image-heavy update- Summer begins!

This is most of everything I've been working on recently. I hope you like it!

Recently, my soccer team won districts and then went to regionals. Sadly, we lost in our second game, but we did really well throughout the season. I also made all-districts and regionals! :)

Summer just started today, and so hopefully, you'll be seeing more work from me, as I move through AP English work...

Either way, stay tuned~!

new semester!

Hey, everyone! It's been a while. New semester is about to start, and I've got several things on my mind lately. Girls, schoolwork, indoor soccer (which is going pretty well :D) and ART. Art is what I love; it's what fuels my fire. Art classes start this semester, and I'm really looking forward to it! I've been painting and drawing a lot these days, so I'm hoping whatever knowledge I've garnered will be useful!

Anyways, here's some semi-recent stuff. I'd post more anatomy studies, but eeeh. No fun viewing naked people, eh?

Snowy scene painted for my mother.

Santa Claus portrait. No references, thus why the glasses lack reflections and the nose is kind of distorted. I gave it to a really awesome girl, dunno whether that was the best idea.... ;D

Master copy of John Singer Sargent's portrait.

Secret Santa 09' for a pixelation member!

Michelangelo anatomy study. Good for form and volume.

Cropped portrait, didn't finish the hair/back of head so I just left it at this. :)

Anyways, that's what I've been up to lately. Hopefully you guys had a great Christmas and New Years! I'm hoping to update this a little more frequently with one piece an update instead of a huge dump each few months ;D Either way things are going alright around here, just got your everyday teenager's problems. I hope to start looking into colleges soon, and maybe start working on my painting more often. I also gotta get more into studying THE BIBLE, BABY. Stay tuned!

Updated my blog name, layout, URL, etc etc. I wish I could get a site... :/

Anyways, today we had a bomb threat so I'm home early. It was kind of awkward... and cold. Haha. I've been drawing and painting a lot lately, too. Here's some stuff I personally like.

You can still keep up to date at Punaji, as well.

Along with that, here's some pixels!

But yeah, that's basically it. Indoor soccer starts Saturday and I can't wait.

i NEVER update this, do i?! it's not like there's but 9 people following, though, so it's no big deal :)

anyways, recently, aside from school, sports, extra curricular stuff, etc., i've been mainly drawing and painting and working with shape and form and volume to try and further my knowledge art-wise.

i've uploaded a TON, so i'll just link you here:

this thread shows most of the drawings i've done in the past months, except for a few this week but yeah.

just so this post isn't useless and doesn't show anything, here's a painting i did today:

third try at acrylics.

so yeah, check out the punaji thread. it's got most everything. and join, too! punaji is a great art forum for aspiring artists and artists that have been at it forever.
